Did you hear about the Lobster at the Party? It spent all its time in the hot tub.

Greetings, Rotarians. For your information:

1. Tomorrow's regular meeting will not be happening. Instead, we will be hosted by Lisa Gallagher for our annual Lobster Party. You can find Lisa's address in an email from Sandy Mollins dated August 14, 2023. If you cannot find that email, please reach out to me (or another club member) so that we can privately share Lisa's address with you.

2. August 31st is the Rotary Charity Classic! It's time for a final push to get a few more teams. Reach out to your networks.

3. The day after the Rotary Charity Classic, September 1st, our regularly scheduled meeting will be going ahead at the Alma City Club (114 Alma Street, Moncton, NB). Please attend to hear from a recent outbound exchange student.

4. Do you enjoy orchestra music? The NBYO is offering complimentary season passes to its concerts for any participating billeting-host families. Host families are needed from August 27-31. Please reach out to Nick O'Toole if you are interested.

5. Looking ahead: the Rotary District 7815 Annual General Meeting will be held by Zoom on Tuesday September 19th, tentatively at 7:30 p.m. This will be the first D7815 AGM, so it may be a good one to attend (via Zoom). Please let me know if you are interested; I will send you the zoom link along with the agenda and draft D7815 budget.
