The District 7810 Indigenous Relations team invites Rotarians to attend a Zoom session with Elder Noel Milliea on June 21st from 630-830pm, in celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day and National Indigenous History Month. As you may all recall, the End Polio Now Tulip program was instigated by Pam Harrison and it is entirely fitting that, in her memory, Districts 7810 and 7820 are continuing the program and the goal this year is to exceed last years sales and the funds raised for the End Polio Now fund.
As before, Colin Reeves is coordinating the sales of Tulip Boxes within the Club. Orders must be placed by 31 July 2021 and, as before, the cost is $25 per box of 25 Tulips and you will be invoiced with your monthly bill in August. If you have any questions, please contact Colin or Lisa Gallagher who is one of the District Coordinators for this fundraiser.
Unfortunately, Gail Snelgrove has decided to leave Rotary. She will be missed, but we wish her the best in her other endeavors.
The Rotary licence plates that were ordered for your vehicles have arrived. I will bring them to the next couple of meetings and distribute to those that attend. If you ordered them, please contact me to make arrangements to pick them up. The cost will be added to your invoice, so you don’t need to bring payment.
And … from our 7810 District Governor, John Slipp:
Please keep safe and I hope to see you Friday.
