I'm afraid I have to start this week's bulletin by sharing the sad news of a former Rotarian and Club member's passing. George H. LeBlanc was a member of our Club for many years and served as Club President in 1992. As you can see from his obituary, he lived the Rotary motto of Service above Self in many aspects of his life and our Club was fortunate to have him as a member, leader, and friend. We will make a donation to The Moncton Hospital as well as the Karing Kitchen in George's name.
If you wish to post a tribute or memory of George, you can click on the above link, type in the share a memory post on the left and then press “Post Now”.
Peace and Conflict Prevention Month feels especially urgent right now, as communities across the world face rising tensions, displacement, and deepening divides; in this moment, Rotary’s unwavering commitment to dialogue, understanding, and grassroots peacebuilding stands as a powerful reminder that lasting peace is built not by grand gestures, but by everyday people choosing cooperation over conflict.
As I have mentioned once, twice or a half dozen times by now 🙃, we will be celebrating Charter night on Friday, February 20th.
Please RSVP by Friday, February 13th, 2026 by clicking on the link below and filling out the form:
