Good morning fellow Rotarians.
1. A few notes from our board meeting this morning:
a. David Shin was approved as our next Secretary starting in July of 2022. Congratulations David and thanks for stepping up!
b. Mike reported that there are now only 2 active cases of polio in the world, an amazing achievement. Sunday is World Polio Day. We were unable to arrange for the projection on the Crown Plaza this week, but we will arrange for it to happen in November.
c. David Maynard is investigating an alternative storage facility as our current room is unsatisfactory.
d. You have all seen the invite for Saturday's AGM via Zoom. I'm sure it will be a very interesting meeting.
e. The Social Committee is looking into a possible Christmas party and looking for thoughts on a Charter night in January.
2. Of course we will be on Zoom again for this week's meeting. Please try to join us to hear Kerri Gaskin-Fowler's preentation on Pandemic Burnout.
