Since the fun golf tournament is tomorrow, there will be no noon meeting.
There is still time to order tulips for the End Polio Now Tulip program, instigated by Pam Harrison and Districts 7810 and 7820 are continuing the program. Colin Reeves is coordinating the sales of Tulip Boxes within the Club. Orders must be placed by 31 July 2021. The cost is $25 per box of 25 Tulips and you will be invoiced with your monthly bill in August. If you have any questions, please contact Colin or Lisa Gallagher who is one of the District Coordinators for this fundraiser.
At last Friday’s meeting, Chris gave a great review of his year as president and awarded the ‘Inspiration Award’ to Juergen for leading the very successful ticket draw. Well done!
For my part, I shared my appreciation to the board for showing faith in me for coming back as president.
My #1 priority for the coming year is to get back to our normal meeting and billing plan, providing we are ‘Green’. We need to re-engage our absentee members.
Starting next Friday, we will return to the round table format we used during the previous yellows stage.
I noticed that Nick’s mother-in-law passed away a few days ago. Our condolences to Mick’s wife and family.
