Greetings, Rotarians. AGM, AGM, AGM...
1. Tomorrow, October 6, 2023, at our regular meeting spot (Legends Lounge), the Moncton West Rotary Charities will hold its Annual General Meeting. This is an important meeting to attend if you want to stay informed of our club's success in fundraising and to know what's happening with the monies raised.
2. The District AGM has been rescheduled to Tuesday, October 17, at 6:30 pm Atlantic Time. All pertinent documents are available on the D7815 website under Member Resources, District Documents. Look for District 7815 2022-23 Annual General Meeting Documents. Here is the Zoom Link:
3. Rotary Leadership Institute ("RLI") classes are being offered in Kentville, Nova Scotia on October 21, 2023. Levels 1 and 2 are being offered. This program was founded to assist in improving Rotary knowledge and leadership skills of the future leaders of Rotary clubs. It's a great way to learn more about Rotary and also network with like-minded rotarians from around the district.
4. Polio day is coming up - October 24, 2023. For those not aware, Rotary is a founding partner of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative and has helped to reduce polio cases by 99.9 percent since its first project to vaccinate children. Rotary has been working on this project for more than 35 years with the goal of ridding the world of this disease. This is a good opportunity to inform others of rotary and what is has and can accomplish.
5. Looking ahead: December 8, 2023 is marked as the date for the club's Annual General Meeting.
See you tomorrow in our regular meeting room at Legends!
