Greetings, Rotarians.
Jolly Old Saint Nicholas and Nicholas

Here is a list of this week's club updates:
1. Looking at the speaker lineup to the right, is it possible our Programming Chair, Juergen Weiland, has procured "Saint Nick" as tomorrow's guest speaker?
2. It has been a very busy month for Youth Exchange. An email was recently circulated asking for help with finding host families. Thank you to those who offered to help out. A host family has since been found for Carolina. We still require a host family for Arthur from January 6, 2024 until some time in or about April, 2024. Please let Jesse Kerpan (yeo@rotarymwr.ca) or Nick O'Toole (Nicholas@actuslaw.com)
3. Our youth exchange students are going skiing in January and they would like to borrow equipment. Please let Jesse Kerpan or Nick O'Toole know if you have equipment they may borrow. Here are the sought-after sizes:
- size 10 ladies (41 Euro) boots plus skis & poles; and
- size 10 men (43 Euro) boots plus skis & poles.
4. For those of you that missed it: CONGRATULATIONS (and condolences?) to Karla McLean for being nominated and accepted as the club's secretary for the rotary year 2024-2025. Thank you for stepping up, Karla.
5. Please mark these dates in your calendars:
- December 29, 2023: NO CLUB MEETING.
- January 5, 2023: New Year's Levee at Brix. Sandy Mollins is collecting names of those who are planning to attend. Please let her know. Doors open at 11:30 am and things will finish up at or before 1:30pm.
