TOMORROW'S MEETING IS AT LEGENDS
Our club is aligned to receive: (1) a silver Governor's Citation, and (2) a club citation from Rotary International. Congratulations to all club members for contributing. But let's not let our feet of the gas; we still want to make best efforts toward: enhancing participant engagement, increasing our impact, expanding our reach, and increasing our ability to adapt. Now is a great time to think about what we as a club can do to assist incoming President Sherry Trenholm make the most of her year as President and spread "The Magic of Rotary".
One of the (many) ways to help out is hosting an exchange student. Our club is presently in need of a host family for August. Ideally in the Bernice MacNaughton High School zone. Please connect with Jesse Kerpan if you are able to help out.
By the way, did you know June is 'Fellowship Month'? It is.
Please mark these dates in your calendars:
- June 12, 2024: Edith Cavell School Pizza Day (11:30 a.m.).
- June 14-16, 2024: District Conference is in St. Pierre & Miquelon.
- June 19, 2024 Forest Glen Pizza Day (11:30 a.m.).
- June 20-23, 2024: Ribfest 2024 at Riverfront Park. This is an all-hands-on deck event for our club and you are asked to reserve some time in your calendars so that you can volunteer. TWO WEEKS AWAY.
- June 28, 2024: Regular club meeting + Allan MacLellan's very good idea. Be sure to attend.
- July 19, 2024: Fun Golf Tournament.
- August 16, 2024: Lobster Party at Lisa Gallagher's.
- August 29, 2024: Rotary Charity Classic golf tournament. Club members are asked to donate a bottle of wine or pack of beer/spirits for the "wine in a wheelbarrow" auction item.
