Hello Fellow Rotarians,

Well, this is it! My last weekly bulletin as President for the 2025-26 Rotary Year.

It has been a year with a lot of changes, challenges, meaningful contributions and good times and I am sure that will continue as we enter a new Rotary year and continue to evolve as a Club.

Speaking of changes, this Friday's meeting is the last meeting at Meeting Room D.  Our Sargent-at-Arms, David Maynard, has been working on a new venue for our meetings. It looks like Curl Moncton will be able to accommodate us for most meetings moving forward into the new year, but our incoming President, Sherry Mourant, will communicate the details, including the location of the first meeting of the year (July 3rd) to you.

I will be sending out a new organizational chart for the 2026-27 Rotary year shortly, which will have information about the various board, committee and fundraising project chairs and their duties.  Please let me know if you see anything that needs to be updated.  And as mentioned, if you are not involved in a committee already, please reach out to a Chair/Lead for a committee that may be of interest to you. Each and every one of us can bring value and contribute to making both our Club and community better.

With summer upon us, we have two fun social events coming up.  Here are the details and remember to RSVP as early as possible in order to help with the planning:

And the Lobster party, which Lisa Gallagher will graciously host for us again this year (address to follow closer to date)

As I wrap up my term as President (from a plane ✈️), I want to thank each and every one of you for being part of our Club this year.  We really do make a huge difference in the community and in the lives of each other ❤️.  Special thanks go to my fellow executive and board members, our committee chairs, community service projects and fundraising committee chairs for the support throughout the year.  It takes active and engaged club members to make it all happen.

As we move into the next Rotary year, I encourage each of you to think further about how you can best contribute to our Club and community.  As a diverse group of members, there are bound to be times where we all have differences of thoughts and opinions - and that's what can make our Club stronger and more sustainable. And most of all, always keep in mind:

Is it the truth?

Is it fair to all concerned?

Will it build goodwill and better friendships?

Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

&….

IS IT FUN!?!

Yours in Rotary,
Catherine
