TOMORROW'S MEETING IS AT FIVE BRIDGES RESTUARANT
121 Pine Glen Rd, Riverview
Hello Fellow Rotarians!
Great time was held by all participants at the July 19, 2024, Fun Golf Tournament held at Hillsborough Golf Club including your President Sherry Trenholm and her teammates Paul Vautour, Gary Jewett and Atilio Guerrero. We even captured this team effort with a photo.
Huge thank you to Jon Andrews and Sandy Mollins for organizing this Rotary Fun Golf Tournament and Barbeque and to the Staff at the Hillsborough Golf Club for their great customer service.
We had 8 teams of 4 play golf and another 9 Rotarians and guests who joined us for dinner at noted below.
Sherry Mourant provided a huge birthday cake to celebrate four amazing Rotarian's July birthdays including Eric Mourant, Sandy Mollins, Dan McLaughlin and Michael Thiel. This special memory was captured in the photo below.
Congratulations to the team with the Andrew Friel, Scott Vail, Michael Thiel and Ted Leblanc that accomplished a low score at 69. Scott Vail demonstrated incredible golf expertise as he achieved closest to the hole twice. Very impressive!
Check out this exceptional golf swing by Karla McLean. Rumor has it she is offering golf lessons for next year's Rotary Fun Golf Tournament.
"Important Youth Exchange Request":
Host family required for incoming exchange students who lives within the Harrison Trimble High School catchment area, which is the Moncton Centre and North area. This is an incredible experience for the host family and wonderful opportunity for the exchange students to learn and enhance their personal growth.
Please reach out to Jesse Kerpan if you are able to welcome an exchange student into life.
"Volunteers Required"
Riverview Boys and Girls Club are looking for Rotarians to assist with their Recycling Program. This environmentally friendly program was launched to raise some funds for the Riverview Boys and Girls Club.
Several of your fellow Rotarians currently volunteer with sorting the recyclables at 330 Coverdale Road in Riverview plus donate their recyclables.
Did you know that Pomerleau, the General Contractor responsible for the construction of new Codiac Regional Policing Facility, donate their construction site recyclables to the Riverview Boys and Girls Club as noted in the following photo. Please join us in helping the environment and support Riverview Boys and Girls Club. For further details on this Recycling Program please contact Nicholas O’Toole.
