Club members welcomed our Rotary Youth Exchange Student Benison Enosh to our RCMWR Luncheon meeting. As noted in the following photos Jesse Kerpan, Director of Rotary Youth Services and his family were delighted to welcome Benison to Moncton NB.
We also enjoyed a visit from Marcel Gervais, 7815 District Governor Elect and Caroyln Ferguson,Senior Gifts Officer-Zone 28, The Rotary Foundation as shown in the photobelow.
Carolyn has worked fulltime since 2010 as part of a staff team of thirteen Major Gift Officers in North America and is the only Canadian-based employee for Rotary International; located in Ancaster, Ontario. As staff support to fourteen districts in Zone 28, this includes about 95% of Canada, the northern parts of Washington state, New York, Michigan and Maine and a small island that belongs to France off the coast of Newfoundland.
As a Major Gift Officer, Carolyn works primarily one on one with Rotarians and friends of Rotary, to invite their support of our Foundation mission through a Major Gift, Bequest, or planned gift.
Carolyn is also a second-generation Rotarian-her father is a past Centennial Governor from Sault Ste Marie, ON. Carolyn joined Rotary in 2004 and is current member and Past President of the Rotary Club of Ancaster. She is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, a member of the Paul Harris Society and a Bequest Society member. She and her family have enjoyed hosting eleven youth exchange students in her home.
