Each Executive member completes a 5-year term on the Executive Committee and enjoys the opportunity to participate in all Executive Club positions for one year term.
President Sherry Trenholm and sponsor Darrell Nameth were delighted to induct Stacey Couturier as a new member of the RCMWR.
Stacey received a warm welcome from the Club members at the September 13, 2024, RCMWR luncheon meeting.
Why did Stacey Couturier decide to join the RCMWR?
Stacey appreciates the efforts and image that Rotary has in the local, national and international communities. She wants to be a part of the entire organization.
Stacey holds a CPHR designation, a Diploma in Business Management, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/Business, and a Bachelor of Education. With over 15 years of experience in sales and customer relations, she brings a robust background in marketing, administration, project management and human resources.
Shehas extensive experience in event planning, teaching, and coaching, particularly at the high school and adult level, and has excelled in people operations, including talent acquisition, retention, and Human Resource program implementation.
Stacey effectively coordinates volunteer initiatives, partners with non-profits to support vulnerable populations, and lead resource development efforts to support organizational missions through fundraising and donor management.
Stacey is a great addition to our growing and dynamic Rotary Club.
September 13, 2024, Meeting Update
President Sherry Trenholm provided an update on the weekly highlights from the meetings she attended this week:
- Legend's Restaurant Meeting
(September 9, 2024)
November 1 and 29, 2024 is not available for Rotary luncheon meetings. Five Bridges Bar and Grill Restaurant will be the meeting venue on these dates.
Weekly cross reference Rotary registration numbers with Legends house court.
October 1, 2024, Rotary lunch fee increases to $23.25/person + 18% gratuity + HST.
Annual fall meeting to be scheduled with Legends Restaurant staff and RCMWR President, Sargent of Arms and Treasurer to meet new members, confirm and discuss opportunities, concerns and annual meeting schedule.
Updated dietary restriction members list to be provided.
Legend's projector screen and projector can be rented at a fee for $60/week/equipment.
RCMWR to use their equipment and repair their projector screen or replace if required.
New AV system to be installed at Legend's and only 1 microphone provided at the podium.
RCMWR responsible for soundboard and portable microphones.

Guest Speaker Senator Nancy Hartling shown in the photo below with Rotarian Robert Stokes, provided an excellent presentation on her role as a senator.
Rotary Club of Moncton donates $25 to the Rotary Foundation and meeting chair shares a Foundation moment when they have guest speakers attend.

Congratulations to Sandy Mollins, Social Committee Chair and her Committeemembers for organizing a very successful 2024 lobster party and completing this event below budget. Awesome job!!!
Upcoming Events:
- October 5, 2024: Rotary Leadership Institute is holding all 3 RLI levels in Truro on October 5th, 202,4 at Nova Scotia Community College.
Training starts at 9am sharp and runs till about 4, lunch is provided. Click link below for the level you wish to attend to register and more information.
- October 7, 2024, 4 PM -6 PM World Polio Presentation to Moncton City Council
- October 18, 2024, 6 PM: True Crime Murder Mystery Buffet Dinner and Tour for RCMWR members and their guests at the Albert County Museum. Maximum attendance is 80. This dinner replaces the Rotary luncheon meeting on this date and the meal cost is the same for regular members. Guests, family members, retired and senior active members cost will be $25/person.The buffet dinner will be served in the community hall at 6 PM sharp.
- May 29-June 1, 2025: District Conference at The Westin Nova Scotian, Halifax, Nova Scotia.
- June 21-25, 2025: Rotary International Convention, at the BMO Centre in Calgary, Alberta. Register today for the incredible Convention experience of a lifetime. Last day for early-registration discount is December 15, 2024.
