Today's bulletin is all about events, being social and the 5th part of the Five Way Test: “Is it fun”?
Last week's holiday party was a a night filled with camaraderie and festive cheer.
A special thank you to East Coast Caroling for providing such wonderful entertainment!
We’re also grateful to our members for their generous donations of toys and non-perishable food items (over 60lbs!), which were provided to What Kids Need Moncton and Feed NB (formerly Food Depot Alimentaire).
Here are a few pictures from the evening:
As a reminder, our Yankee Swap/White Elephant gift exchange is December 19th. To participate, please bring a wrapped gift valued around $20. Ugly (or beautiful) Festive sweaters or attire welcomed!
The next date to mark on your calendar is our New Year's Levee, which will be held again this year at the 2nd Floor at Dolma on Friday, January 2nd at 12 pm. We can use the parking lot at the Brix and the street parking, but they ask that we do not se Dolma's grocery store parking. Make a plan to car pool with a Rotarian or two. As usual, we will have “small eats”, time to chat with each other and toast the new year (cash bar), an perhaps a game or two!
Our Club was officially formed, or chartered, on March 16th, 1973. We will have an evening to celebrate our Club, our members, our community service and the community service of others on February 20th, 2025. This event will be held at Legends, with more details to follow in early February.
Yours in Rotary,
Catherine
