Greetings Fellow Rotarians

Congratulations to Ketan Ravel!!!

Ernie Steeves, Former MLA Moncton Northwest and Minister of Finance of New Brunswick awarded Rotarian Ketan Ravel with The King Charles lll Coronation Medal in recognition of his outstanding volunteer work in the community.

Ernie Steeves recognition is noted below:

"Ketan Raval has been a vital part of the Moncton community since he arrived. As the leader of Moncton Cares, he has supported 3,000 newcomers annually and over 10,000 in the last 3-4 years, making Moncton more welcoming and inclusive.

Ketan also volunteers with many organizations like Rotary, the Progress Club, and the Lions, inspiring others to give back. As a newcomer himself, he shows how volunteerism and community service can create meaningful change.

Ketan truly represents the spirit of helping and building a stronger community."

The Coronation Medal program was created to mark the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III. It recognizes individuals who have made a significant contribution to a particular province, territory, region or community in Canada, or attained an outstanding achievement abroad that brings credit to our country. The Governor General is one of many nominators across Canada. In total, the medal will be awarded to 30 000 deserving individuals.
