Yesterday, Rotary members and our six Rotary Youth Exchange students from the Greater Moncton Rotary Clubs attended the Remembrance Day Ceremony at the Moncton Coliseum. The group then visited the Honour Garden, where member Nadine Larche guided them through the memorial dedicated to the three fallen RCMP officers from the tragic events of 2014. Nadine’s husband, Constable Doug Larche, was one of the police officer who lost their lives, along with Constables Dave Ross and Fabrice Gevaudan.

The Rotary Foundation helps Rotary members to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace by improving health, providing quality education, improving the environment, and alleviating poverty.
What impact can one donation have?
For as little as 60 cents, a child can be protected from polio.
$50 can provide clean water to help fight waterborne illness.
$500 can launch an antibullying campaign and create a safe environment for children.
For those you you who were not able to attend last week's Club AGM, I'm pleased to share with you that Mark Estey will be our Club's Secretary for the 2026-27 Rotary year! On behalf of the Board and the Club, thank you, Mark, for stepping forward for this role!
Finally, I want to thank everyone for their active participation last Friday at our AGM. It was lively, and longer than planned, but it is good to see we have so many members that are deeply passionate about our Club.
See you at Meeting Room D on Friday!
Yours in Rotary,
Catherine
