One Month Into The Rotary Year!

Greetings, Rotarians. Wow, one month goes quick! 11 months left to Create Hope in the World for this Rotary Year. And 11 months left to accomplish this year's citation goals. I wonder how we're doing...

1. We will continue to rotate meeting locations during the month of August. Be mindful of the panel to the right which indicates where the upcoming meetings will take place (and also meeting responsibilities). THE PART IN BLUE INDICATES THE MEETING LOCATION; THE SMALL BLACK LETTERING UNDERNEATH INDICATES THE TOPIC. The location for August 18th is TBD and August 25th marks our Lobster Party at Lisa's. A separate e-mail containing Lisa's address has been circulated and will re-circulated leading up to that date. 

2. Also coming up is the 26th Rotary Charity Classic! August 31st at Royal Oaks Golf Club. Ian Franklin and Jamie Smith are co-chairing the event and working hard to make it a success. But they could use a hand. Please speak with them for ideas on how you can help. In the meantime, please consider helping out with: (a) finding hole sponsors, (b) putting together a team, and (c) finding items for the silent auction.

3. In case you're wondering, our weekly Friday meeting on September 1, 2023 - the day after the Rotary Charity Classic - is going ahead.

4. Did you know that August is Rotary International's Membership and New Club Development Month? Please promote our club by inviting friends, family, and other prospective members to a weekly meeting, the Rotary Charity Classic, or both!
