Hello Fellow Rotarians,

Hope you all are having a great week!  Thank you for all your participation in our fundraising brainstorming sessions and special thanks to Darren Hansen for facilitation. We have some really great ideas to review.  The board will be reviewing the information and I will get back to all members in the coming weeks with our recommendations for final decision by the Club.

Tomorrow's meeting will be held in Meeting Room D.  We should be back in Meeting room D now, with the exception of Feb 27 when we will be in Legends, until of March 20th.  There are 6 dates between March 20th and the end of une where we are unable to meet in either Meeting Room D or Legends, and we are booked in at Curl Moncton for all those dates.  I will communicate in the bulletin all of the dates ahead of each meeting.

Sam Lanctin, a member of the Dieppe Rotary Club will be leading a Habitat for Humanity Global Village build in Vietnam in June of this year. 

The intent is for the team to be made up of Rotarians. The Dieppe Club does not have the minimum number of participants from our Dieppe Club, and for this reason, we wish to extend the invitation to other clubs, starting with the Moncton area clubs, but likely expanding to other district clubs fairly quickly.

Destination: Vietnam, An Giang province

Dates: May 30-June 7, 2026    

Team size: minimum 12, maximum 14 

Required donation: $3,430 per participant, which can be fundraised. Other costs: flights and any personal days prior/post build.

At the moment, the build is open to Rotarians and their partners, but as time is somewhat pressing, we plan on opening the build up to friends and family fairly quickly.
