First, a big THANK YOU goes out to Jon Andrews on leading our very successful Fun golf tournament on Friday. We were blessed with fabulous weather, great company, and good food. Thank you to everyone that helped make the 1st social event of the Rotary year a success!
Our next social event will be the Lobster Party on August 22nd. The social committee is meeting this Friday, so expect more information to come to your inbox soon!
As noted previously, we will be moving our regular lunch meeting to Meeting Room D at the Coliseum starting with our August 1st meeting. This move should allow us to have a more consistent meeting room with Legends. One other small change is that the Sergeant-at-Arms position will now be collecting attendance for those with dietary restrictions on a weekly basis (this was previously done by Legends). So, please ensure those of you who receive this email inquiry each week responds by Wednesday at noon prior to our weekly Friday meeting.

Wondering about our meeting on August 1st called Business & Fellowship Meeting? This will be an opportunity to get to know some of your fellow Rotarians a little better as well as have a working session on community service for our Club (including service activities and fundraisers). This type of structured โBusiness Meetingโ aligns with our Strategic Action Plan ๐ฏ

Did you know that our website Rotary Club of Moncton West & Riverview has recently been revamped? Please take a look through this new website and
if you have any feedback, please send to cathyblack47@hotmail.com.
Thank you to Past President Sherry Trenholm for getting this project past the finish line.
Additionally we have
recently transitioned to the โNovaโ edition of ClubRunner. This new version of ClubRunner is greatly improved and I encourage you all to check it out. You can log in from your computer or
download the ClubRunner App to your phone. (and if you have read this far, I also encourage you to
update your profile, including a picture so that members, especially our new members, can easily find out โwho's who in the zooโ? โบ๏ธโฆ and if your picture is from 10+ years ago, maybe an update would be a good idea too!).
And last but not least, if you read anything in the Bulletin each week (but I hope you read more!), please ensure you look at the weekly meeting responsibilities. If you are assigned a task and cannot make it, it is your responsibility to find a replacement. If you are assigned to set-up, please also help put away the meeting equipment.
See you Friday!
Catherine
President, Rotary MWR
