Greetings, Rotarians. It's officially Autumn. That means three months' worth of bulletins with tongue-in-cheek headlines have been issued. Please be advised:

1. There are two inductions planned for tomorrow's meeting. Come to the meeting to find out more about the inductees and to give them a warm welcome.

2. Next meeting, October 6, 2023, will also be an important meeting. It will be the Charity's Annual General Meeting. Please stay informed by attending this meeting.

3. The car rally is coming up. Please mark October 21st, 2023 (a Saturday afternoon) in your calendars. Being an afternoon event, you should still have time for evening plans. I dare you to participate. And what a great way to introduce some friends to rotary - see if they can keep up.

4. The District AGM has been rescheduled to Tuesday, October 17, at 6:30 pm Atlantic Time. Zoom registration information will be supplied shortly. All pertinent documents are available on the D7815 website under Member Resources, District Documents. Look for District 7815 2022-23 Annual General Meeting Documents.

5. Rotary Leadership Institute ("RLI") classes are being offered in Kentville, Nova Scotia on October 21, 2023. Levels 1 and 2 are being offered. This program was founded to assist in improving Rotary knowledge and leadership skills of the future leaders of Rotary clubs. It's a great way to learn more about Rotary and also network with like-minded rotarians from around the district.

6. Polio day is coming up - October 24, 2023. For those not aware, Rotary is a founding partner of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative and has helped to reduce polio cases by 99.9 percent since its first project to vaccinate children. Rotary has been working on this project for more than 35 years with the goal of ridding the world of this disease. Did you know that by raising funds for PolioPlus, there is a 2-to-1 match (up to US $150 million). What can / should we do as a club to eradicate polio - find out about one idea at tomorrow's meeting.
