The Ticket Draw was last Friday, and it was an amazing success. The committee has done an absolutely outstanding job and we look forward to Juergen’s report. Spoiler alert: The final numbers are phenomenal, and I think everyone will be blown away when they are presented.
As you are aware, we have our Rotary Ribfest coming June 25-27 which will be a drive-in style service. The volunteer positions are easier to manage and with 3-hour shifts. You can choose the day, time and duty you wish, but pick them early as they tend to be going quickly. An email with a link to volunteer has been sent to all MWR Rotarians so please sign up and help our club support our many charities through this great fund raising/community engagement event.
The District 7810 Indigenous Relations team invites Rotarians to join us for a Conversation on Truth and Reconciliation in honor of National Indigenous Peoples Day with Elder Noel Milliea on Monday June 21, from 630-830pm. A brief email is being prepared to be distributed to Rotarians so please sign up when you receive it.
The End Polio Now Tulip program was instigated by Pam Harrison and Districts 7810 and 7820 are continuing the program. Colin Reeves is coordinating the sales of Tulip Boxes within the Club. Orders must be placed by 31 July 2021. The cost is $25 per box of 25 Tulips and you will be invoiced with your monthly bill in August. If you have any questions, please contact Colin or Lisa Gallagher who is one of the District Coordinators for this fundraiser.
