Hello Fellow Rotarians,
It's September! And while pumpkin spice is now on some menus, Fall doesn't officially start until September 22nd. So, enjoy the last few weeks of Summer! It was back-to-school this week for many of our families and friends, including the schools our Club volunteers with. More info will be shared soon on our volunteering work at Edith Cavell and Forest Glen schools. It's also the start of 🏈 football season for those of us who celebrate ☺️.

As we move into September, our Rotary theme focuses on Basic Education and Literacy. This month is a reminder of the power of learning to transform lives and communities. Around the world, millions of children and adults still lack access to quality education, and Rotary plays an important role in changing that reality. Whether it’s supporting local literacy programs, mentoring youth, or helping provide resources for schools, each of us can make a difference. I encourage you to think about ways we, as a club, can contribute—both locally and globally—to ensure that education remains a gateway to opportunity and hope. Together, let’s continue to open doors through knowledge and service.

We're keeping social/fellowship activities coming!
