Recently, the Rotary Club of Moncton West & Riverview received an urgent appeal from Riverview East School. They identified several of their student families who could experience a difficult Christmas because of financial need. They exhausted their usual community sponsors and help did not appear forthcoming. The Club put out an appeal to our membership and within a few days they donated $6,271. The Moncton West Rotary Charities added $5,000 in support of our members contributions.
We are pleased to donate $11,271 to support Christmas for Families at Riverview East School.
